摘要
Due to its range-angle-dependent transmit beampattern, FDA radar has received much attention. However, a standard FDA radar has many weaknesses that limit its applications such as low resolution and S-shaped beampattern. This paper proposes a method to solve the weaknesses, using subarrays and chaotic-sequence controlled frequency increments to synthesis high resolution, dot-shaped beampattern. The effectiveness of the method is verified by simulation results.
