摘要
The aim of this work is to present a real experience on radar cross section (RCS) reduction using a radar absorbent material (RAM) made of microwire metallic fibers on a patrol ship of the Spanish Navy. The effectiveness of this RAM has been demonstrated, providing a drastic reduction in the number of significant scatterers or hot spots, together with a significant reduction (between 10 and 15 dB) in the global RCS pattern.
