A New High-Resolution Imaging Approach for MIMO Radar

摘要
A high-resolution MIMO radar imaging method based on Capon beamforming is presented in this paper. First matched filter is used to separate transmitting signal and realize range compression. Then azimuth focusing is completed by Capon beamforming. Compared with the conventional coherent stack method, the proposed method has much higher azimuth resolution and lower sidelobe level. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
