摘要：
With the development of edge computing and AI technology, how to run AI applications on the edge of network in a more efficient and effective way has become a new research hotspot. Edge intelligence, the next stage of edge computing, is a research field closely integrated with industrial scenario. Compared with traditional cloud intelligence, edge intelligence has better performance in service response, reliability and privacy protection. In order to achieve a better understand of this field, we summarize the previous research. In this paper, we first reviewed the background and development of edge intelligence. Then,we discussed the key technologies involved in edge intelligence. Finally, the challenges and opportunities of edge intelligence are prospected.
