Impedance spectroscopy and conductivity analysis study of 0.6(BNT-BT)-0.4NCZF ceramic composites

Impedance and modulus spectroscopy along with conductivity analysis of 0.6(BNT-BT)-0.4NCZF samples, synthesised microwave processing technique are analysed and discussed. Impedance and modulus analysis revealed overall grain and grain boundary effects in 200 degrees C to 400 degrees C temperature range. Overall grain boundary (R-gb) resistance decreased from 13570 ohm to 1877 ohm in 300 degrees C to 400 degrees C temperature range. AC conductivity study showed increase in conduction with increase of frequency as well as temperature. Activation energy (E-a) for AC conduction was found to decrease from 0.81 eV (at 100 Hz) to 0.38 eV (100 kHz) in the 200 degrees C to 400 degrees C temperature range.
