摘要:
Magnetic compass is the most reliable direction device on board till now. The maintenance and checking deviation is an essential ability for the officer on watch. Maritime Safety Administration of the People's Republic of China sets down a regulation for evaluation on operating magnetic compass. In this article, tools of 3ds Max and Unity 3d are employed to develop the training and evaluation system based on 3D virtual magnetic compass. The training system can be used to perform training for students and seafarers. In order to solve the problems in the evaluation that the standards are not uniform and objective for different assessors, evaluation system on operating magnetic compass is developed by way of Visual C++ 2010. Through investigation and consulting experts, the evaluation mathematical model is built up. Through testing, the evaluation results are consistent with the results from assessor.
