摘要
There is a major difference in dislocation-particle interaction at low and elevated temperatures. This article will only discuss the historic development of and the current understanding of the interaction of dislocations with non-shearable particles at elevated temperatures. It will show that the understanding of repulsive-attractive transition in dislocation-particle interaction at elevated temperatures has undergone remarkable change and is at a level where a physics-based high-temperature strengthening framework can be developed.
