Guaranteeing a deterministic QoS in the IP-based next generation wireless networks

摘要
In this paper, we propose a novel method for a call admission control (CAC) mechanism in the wireless IP networks. All previous methods of the CAC mechanisms are based on the traffic classes: CBR, rt-VBR, nrt-VBR, etc. We introduce a method that can be used to derive guaranteed deterministic delay bounds without specific information about the flow population. Therefore, with this new method we can design several priority assignment algorithms used a CAC mechanisms in the IP-based next generation networks.
