摘要
The mechanical and corrosion properties of a medium carbon steel (S45C) recycled by solid recycling process were discussed. In the solid recycling process, metal scraps are recycled by plastic deformation process such as hot extrusion and forging. It was found that there was no difference in 0.2% proof stress and corrosion resistance between the solid recycled steel and the ingot steel thereby demonstrating that the solid recycling is the effective recycle method for steel.
