Determination of phenols by solid phase extraction and high performance liquid chromatography

摘要
Determination of phenols in water by solid phase extraction and high performance liquid chromatography was studied. Phenols in water can be enriched by solid phase extraction with Waters Porapak(R) Sep-Park-C-18 cartridge, and separated on a NovaP-ak-C-18 column (3.9 x 150 mm). The composition of mobile phase is A: acetonitrile containing 1 % of acetic acid, B: 0.05 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphates by linear gradient elution at a flow-rate of 1.0 m/min. The change of mobile phase is as follows: in 0 min (20% A and 80% B), 20min (80% A and 20% B). The PDA detector monitors at the maximum absorption of each phenols. The recoveries of phenols are 92.8% similar to 108%, and the RSD are 1.9% similar to 3.7%. The detection limits are mug/L level. This method has been applied to the determination of phenols in water with satisfictory results.
