摘要
Boiling heat transfer and pressure drop instabilities in mini-channels are critical topics which have to be urgently studied in detail before it is used in technical applications. This paper experimentally involves in investigation on flow boiling in mini-channels with the hydraulic diameters of 2.67 and 0.8 mm. Through the steady state experiment, parametric effect on boiling heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop in mini-channel is studied. With the aid of visualization observation, mechanism of Marangoni effect and flow pattern influence on heat transfer, pressure drop and its instabilities are interpreted.
