摘要：

High CRP levels are associated with adverse outcomes in cardiovascular diseases. hsCRP levels increase with the severity of CHF in patients with diastolic HF as well as in systolic HF. This supports a potential role for CRP in immune activation not only in systolic but also in diastolic HF. The measurement of hsCRP levels thus has the potential to play an important role for risk assessment in patients with CHF. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
