The RSPCA held its second summer conference, examining the links between climate change and animal welfare, in London on June 2. As well as presenting a meteorological overview, expert speakers examined the possible effects of climate change on wildlife and farmed and companion animals, and how legislators and non-governmental organisations were reacting. Will climate change pose new threats to animal welfare or simply exacerbate existing problems?
