True digestible amino acids values of meat and bone meals for poultry

摘要
The experiment aimed to determine the true digestible coefficient of amino acids (TDCaa) of meat and bone meal (MBM), using the method of "forced fed" with cecectomized adult roosters. The roosters were individually placed in cages with excreta collector trays. A completely randomized experimental design, with six types of MBM and one fasted and six replicates of one rooster, was used. The values of dry matter, nitrogen, amino acids from the excreta and feeds were determined and the true digestible coefficient of each amino acid was calculated. It was verified that the MBM was deficient in many essential aminoacids and it has high percentage of alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and proline. The average of the TDCaa, in percentage, obtained for the six MBM were, 86.31; 73.51; 78.96; 71.62; 70.42 and 69.46%, respectively for the MBM from Frigopan, Frigobom, Kaparao, Vitagro, Inducaia and Sao Joao. The TDCaa of the non-essential aminoacids were lower than the essential ones. The MBM samples from the different slaughterhouses ranged in TDCaa from 53.33 to 80.41 for methionine; 80.11 to 92.09 for lysine; and 68.44 to 82.53 for threonine.
