摘要
Cable modeling is of great significance to study the propagation characteristics of fault signals so as to facilitate the diagnosis and positioning of fault signals. However, the typical cable model in most commercial software does not take into account the semiconductor layer of the cable. Considering the influences of conductor skin effects and frequency-variable characteristics of semi-conducting layers, this paper presents an equivalent lumped parameter model for single-core cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation cables. A rational approximation for the cable frequency domain model is made based on vector fitting algorithm. Moreover, the parameters of per unit length (p.u.l.) in RLC lumped circuit are obtained by modifying the algorithm.
