摘要：

The Z-dependence of external bremsstrahlung (EB) in Al, Cu, Sn and Pb targets produced by beta particles of Tl-204 and Tm-170 beta emitters have been measured using a thick NaI(Tl) detector. It is found that the values of the Z-dependence obtained both from Bethe-Heitler-Elwert and Tseng and Pratt theories and experiment are not constant. Rather these values increase with increasing photon energy, suggesting thereby that the EB spectral shape is not independent of the atomic number (Z) of the target material.
