Elatine ojibwayensis sp.nov., a new species of Elatinaceae and review of the Elatinaceae of Quebec

摘要：
A new species of the family Elatinaceae, Elatine ojibwayensis Gameau, sp.nov., occurring in Quebec is described based on plant specimens from northern Quebec. This new species is the only Elatine with tetramerous flowers in eastern North America. Its current distribution is restricted to 50 degrees 05'N and 55 degrees 11'N in central Quebec, in the James Bay and Hudson Bay basins. A description of each Elatine species together with a distribution map in Quebec is given. An analytical key to the species is also provided.
