摘要
The mechanism of epithelial Cl- secretion requires K+ recycling via basolaterial ion channels. Two types of K+ channels were identified. A Ca2+-activated, and a very small cAMP-regulated K+ channel. Increase of cAMP inhibits the Ca2+-activated K+ channel and thus makes small K+ channel the limiting step for cAMP-dependent Cl- secretion.
