Layering up: The title nanocomposite shows high anion loading capacity. The demonstration of the assembly of a W7O246- catalyst by this method may provide a general route to the facile and direct fabrication of composite structures with magnetic cores and shells functionalized with various anions (see scheme; LDH=layered double hydroxide). © 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
