High Isostatic Pressure Effect on the Structure of High-Speed Steel

摘要
In this work, it is proposed to use for the obtaining of high-speed steel bars, obtained by powder-like methods, such perspective technological methods of isostatic treatment with pressure, as hydroextrusion and hot gas extrusion. Influence of temperature and deformation degree was studied at the treatment pressure on the structure of powder-like steel, namely, on the sizes of grain, sizes and form of carbide phase. Investigation of mechanical properties of high-speed steel, obtained using proposed methods, showed essential improvement of mechanical characteristics.
