摘要
Some wounds do not heal normally and present the practioner with a challenge. These can be thought of as hard-to-heal wounds. There are numerous causes of such wounds, and when they occur, the veterinarian should consider all factors associated with the wound. When diagnostic tests are indicated, they should be performed. Finally, appropriate measures should be taken to correct the underlying cause of the hard-to-heal wound.
