An IT project is successful only when it meets the requirements of time, cost, quality and satisfies stakeholders. To ensure the stakeholders were satisfied with the information technology (IT) project, project communication becomes especially important. This paper combines theory of communication management with an actual project management case in IT industry in China, analyzes the meaning, principles, methods, techniques of communication with stakeholders in IT projects, with a view to benefit communication management between the project managers and stakeholders.
