摘要
This brief article serves to introduce the papers selected for the special issue devoted to topics and concepts in literary translation. The texts study a variety of languages (including English, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, French, Japanese, Dutch, German and Swedish), use a wide range of approaches (quantitative review of literary translations; transfictional approaches to translation; a review of concepts such as paratexts, intralingual translation, intertextuality and retranslation; and so on) and aim to expand on existing debates on translation and translation studies as a discipline. It is hoped that at least some of them will promote further debate.
