摘要
Embryonic stem (ES) cells are known to differentiate into other mature cell types through the formation of embryoid bodies (EBs). The various microenvironment of EBs is so crucial for the procedure of differentiation that the microfluidic chip offers a potential platform for high-throughput testing without much consumption of reagents. Here, we designed a three layer microfluidic chip with micro-structures that created relatively uniform microenvironment for EBs culture. The EBs were loaded into the microfluidic chip and then perfused by vitamin C (VC) for six days. The results suggest that EBs could spread and have the trend of differentiation into cardiomoyocytes.
