摘要
The production of an ultrafine grained (UFG) aluminum alloy (1050) with a submicrocrystalline structure was attempted through friction stir process (FSP). Relationships between tool rotation speed, maximum temperature which the FSP zone reaches during FSP and the microstructure of the friction stir processed aluminum alloy were experimentally studied. As a result, parameters required for microstructure control of the FSP zone were revealed.
