摘要
This paper presents theory, algorithm, and results of a new interferometry SAR (InSAR) method that is capable of generating digital elevation models (DEM) from the data acquired in an innovative bistatic configuration that uses orbital sensors as transmitters of opportunity and stationary receivers on ground. The novel approach distinguishes from the conventional InSAR methodology implemented in monostatic case, because the cylindrical projection rule in monostatic configuration has already transformed into ellipsoidal projection rule in bistatic counterpart. Furthermore, the contrast of vital InSAR procedures between these two configurations, usually called reference phase compensation and phase to height conversion, has been compared and highlighted in detail. Meanwhile, the examples of simulated data and real data process are discussed, which demonstrates the feasibility of the new algorithm.
