摘要
An empirical correlation equation is proposed relating the "gel-liquid crystal" main phase transition temperatures, T (m), of aqueous dispersions of highly asymmetric diacyl phosphatidyl-cholines with saturated acyl chains to the chain volumes. The equation permits the prediction of T (m) values with an accuracy close to their experimental reproducibility. The sn-1 and sn-2 acyl chains affect the T (m) values in different manner, whereas the excess chain fragments have an identical effect on the transition temperatures.
