Physics of magnetized accretion disks driving jets

摘要
We report here the investigation of magnetized accretion ejection structures (MAES), where accretion and ejection are interdependant processes. While accretion unto the central object feeds two bipolar jets with power, they in turn allow accretion by removing the angular momentum of the underlying disk. We briefly discuss the physics of magnetized keplerian disks driving jets and show self-similar solutions for non-relativistic trans-Alfvenic jets.
