Electrochemical behaviour of addition agents impregnated in nickel oxide electrodes

摘要
Nickel oxide electrodes are widely used as cathodes in alkaline batteries. Triangular Potential Sweep Voltammerty (TPSV) is used to determine the reversibility of impregnated nickel electrode and also the co-precipitated nickel hydroxide electrode used as cathodes in alkaline batteries. The influence of electrochemically co-precipitated cobalt, cadmium, manganese and zinc ions in nickel hydroxide electrodes is discussed. Based on the above results, a suitable impregnation bath for nickel is suggested.
