摘要
The research study deals with the mapping of frustrogenic living conditions of secondary school teachers and focuses on their relations to selected socio-demographic variables - age, type of education and type of school where teachers are currently working. The research was attended by 145 teachers of grammar schools and secondary technical schools in regions of Zilina, Kosice and Presov aged 25-63 years with an average age of 42.63(SD=10,04), years, of which 48 were men and 97 women.. In research has been used the questionnaire of structure and dynamics of life satisfaction and frustrated living conditions and situations - DUSIN. The results did not show significant differences in the extent of the presented frustration in individual areas of life, due to the age of the teachers, the type of their education or the type of school they are working on. The presented results are part of a piloting study mapping the life satisfaction and the extent of the presence of clinical psychological symptoms among teachers in Slovakia. The research findings also have limitations that relate to the research methodology the frustration factor construct as the opposite of satisfaction in individual areas of life, the sampling, the motivation and the share of the respondents. In spite of these findings, the presented study presents an insight into the problem of frustrogenic areas of teachers and will help focus the content of psychological disciplines in pre-graduate and postgraduate education of pedagogues (especially those working with mental health and teacher's personality) on relevant areas as well as more precisely adjust psychological content of programs or interventions for teachers in secondary schools.
