GENDER-SPECIFIC FEATURES OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION DEVELOPMENT AND TREATMENT IN UKRAINE

Currently available guidelines for the arterial hypertension treatment recommend the same approaches to the treatment of hypertensive patients, regardless of their gender. However, some studies specify the differences between men and women in controlling blood pressure and emphasize the need for different approaches to treating female and male hypertensive patients, taking into account gender features of the disease development.
