摘要
An e-readiness model is developed, which is conceptualized as the ability of HEIs (higher education institutions) and the capacity of institutional stakeholders to generate learning opportunities by facilitating computer-based technologies. The major opportunities and challenges in realizing e-readiness as a managerial tool when measuring the level of integration of ICTs (information and communication technologies) is to achieve a strategy that is tailored to meet the particular needs of local HEIs and individuals. Educational managers would be able to define who might benefit from an e-readiness instrument and to make use of it, so that they are able to take specific steps towards the effective and sustainable use of educational technologies. e-readiness is concerned with decisions about matters such as the provision of e-learning material and access for students. Ability, capacity, and facility are the three important factors for the successful implementation of e-readiness model.
