Research on the Level of Mental Health and Relationship between Mental Health and Coping Style of Students in Vocational & Professional College

Objective: To explore the level of mental health and relationship between mental health and coping style. Methods: 400 vocational & professional college students were assessed with SCL-90 and coping style questionnaire. Results: Interpersonal-sensitivity and obsessive-compulsive were main problems in these students. The significant differences were existed in factor of Phobia, Depression, Anxiety, and Fantasy between male and female and in factor of obsessive-compulsive and recourse between high-grade and low-grade students. Those students who have different mental health level have significant different coping style as well. Conclusion: Female and high grade students were subject to mental problems.
