On Leja sequences: some results and applications

In this paper we collect and review some results concerning Leja sequences on one and two-dimensional domains. Then, we present two applications and discuss some open problems on the asymptotic distribution of Leja points on two-dimensional domains. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
