摘要
Time domain and power spectral density (PSD) analyses of ECG were used as indices of physiologic change in telemetry-equipped hypothermic rats. Anesthetized rats were either cooled (Hypo, Tc = 20degreesC) and then rewarmed or maintained normothermic (NC). Heart rate, blood pressure, interbeat interval (1131), normalized standard deviation (NSD) and PSD were determined. NSD in Hypo rats was significantly elevated at Tc = 30degreesC which was coincident with the transition from increasing to decreasing HR and BP during cooling. With no change in PSD at Tc = 30degreesC, the increased NSD suggests physiological events lacking an autonomic nervous system origin. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
