摘要
Digital contents have been distributed through content platformers (Netflix, Amazon) and mobile OS (iOS, Android). Most of existing content distribution system pay less attention to the discussion on users' convenience and business models of content providers (Sony, Disney). Users have to use content platformers' applications and content platformers take a revenue share, which affects adversely to content providers. In this paper, a new SuperDistribution is proposed, which uses digital images as content distribution media with Robust Index Code (RIC) [8, 9]. RIC is a robust codemark targeting digital images so that it is possible to link contents with a digital image. Then, we implemented the proposed SuperDistribution System with RIC. Content providers upload their contents to our implemented contents pool console. Subsequently, a RIC image and a url, linked with the uploaded contents, will be generated. Users can easily access to the contents clicking the url or decoding the RIC image. Therefore, the new system achieves increasing user's convenience and independence from content platformers.
