Ga-67 uptake in a patient with Takayasu's arteritis

摘要
A 19-year-old Asian woman was admitted with fever of unknown origin, anemia, an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and clinical indications of lymphoma. Screening Ga-67 citrate scintigraphy showed significant uptake in the distribution of the aortic arch and origin of the great vessels, thoracic aorta, left subclavian artery, and left common carotid artery. Subsequent enhanced computed tomography of the neck and chest showed marked arterial wall thickening in the regions of increased Ga-67 uptake. Classic angiographic changes in the great vessels confirmed the diagnosis of Takayasu's arteritis.
