A low-complexity precoding technique for N-continuous OFDM

摘要：

N-continuous OFDM renders the connection between sequential OFDM symbols continuous to solve the problem of high sidelobes. Conventional orthogonal multiplexing schemes increase the burden of the receiver by multiplying the transpose of the precoding matrix. In this paper, the existing schemes for N-continuous OFDM are further developed and a novel orthogonal precoder is proposed by forcing the precoded symbols in data subcarriers close to the original uncoded ones. Three alternative decoders are also designed to obtain tradeoff between the performance and complexity. In particular, the receiver can decode by iterative structure with rather low-complexity and satisfactory BER performance.
