摘要
Electron paramagnetic resonance investigations of both ammonia and aniline copper(II) complexes revealed stronger exchange interactions in the CuCl2 . 2NH(3) crystal lattice than in the lattice of the aniline complex. The crystal lattice of CuCl2 . 2NH(3) may be considered as a system of infinite chain links with two halide bridges between adjacent copper atoms and two ammonia ligands in axial positions. In CuCl2 . 2(aniline) the halide bridges are broken, so the interaction between copper ions becomes negligible and the structure of the aniline complex exhibits lower symmetry.
