摘要
A new generation of immunoassays is being developed at a rapid pace for use as reliable, sensitive, specific detection of biological markers, both for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. DNA-based immunoassays have attracted increasing interest due to the ease by which nucleic acids can be synthesized and manipulated. This review summarizes the spectrum of DNA-modification techniques of specific antibodies and nucleic acid molecules, as well as different methodologies for signal amplification and read-out.
