摘要
Previous literature on knowledge and knowledge production is reviewed and structured in six main perspectives, based on the knowledge aspects that are considered critical: external perception, novelty, usage, locus, ownership, and ontology. Implications for the innovation process are discussed and the squirrel cage induction motor is used as an example to illustrate the knowledge forms identified in the literature.
