摘要：

This work presents a case study on the adoption of the Personal Software Process in a small software firm located in Italy named Socrate Sistemi. The purpose of the experiment undertaken inside Socrate Sistemi was to evaluate the benefits and possible drawbacks deriving from the introduction of a software process discipline focusing on individuals. The Personal Software Process aims to foster process reengineering and continuous improvement, using a bottom-up approach that begins from personnel. The results achieved till now show the positive impact of this approach both on personnel work and on the organization.
