摘要
Approximate modeling tools have been developed for the ultrasonic probe design and for the modeling of inspection situations and practically applied and validated at various occasions. This contribution outlines the basic aspects of the modeling for the soundfield at the probe design stage for focusing and phased array probes applied at various surface geometries. The approximations are optimized to assure a fast and interactive calculation of A-scans or B-Scans.
