摘要
In this paper, a method for moisture content determination in particulate materials based on microwave transmission characteristics principle is studied. By comparing the result of this method with that of utilizing capacitance characteristics, we find something mismatch even though the same density independent function is used to derive moisture content. the cause of the mismatch is discussed. For further improvement of the measurement accuracy of moisture content, the scatter parameter method to estimate the complex dielectric constant of the particulate material is suggested.
