摘要:
Accurate assessments, implementation strategies and assistive technology teams will contribute to a higher rate of successful use of assistive technology for individuals with disabilities. The Precursor Screening Assessment for Technology (PSAT) is an assistive technology assessment procedure based on a series of motivational activities that address such issues as learned helplessness and interdisciplinary input. Through the PSAT, the educator and other caregivers gain insight into the student's natural abilities; which can then be used to make assistive technology decisions based on the identified environment, goals and tasks.
