摘要:
This article argues that the intellectuals of Sino-Christian Theology is not ready to establish a dialogue with the New Leftist, as theologians are not working in the same context. Neither are they able to ponder nor criticize Chinese modernity through the theories of Western thoughts as the New Leftist. Even worse, there has not been a systematic discourse of the history of Sino-Christian thought yet. Wang Hui's The Rise of Modern China's Thought established the New Leftist's discourse, and set their own agenda. This article points out how the New Leftist has become the representative of the "politically correct" trend in contemporary China, when the Chinese Communist Party is till controlling the political discourse. It examines how the New Leftist criticizes the empire of globalization but at the same time implements secretively an "inner-colonization".
