摘要
Electronic nose recognition of gases is addressed by extracting time constants of sensor response. Based on a fit of such responses on a proper orthogonal basis. a filtering is introduced that yields the desired result in real-time, significantly earlier than the steady-state. Experiments proved the effectiveness of the approach.
