摘要
The use of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) columns and reinforced concrete (RC) shear wall mixed structures has attracted the interest of structural engineers in recent years. An experimental investigation including four test models was thus conducted on circular CFST columns and RC shear wall mixed structures subjected to constant axial load and cyclic lateral load. The test parameters included axial load level in the composite column and height-width ratio of the RC shear wall. The effects of these parameters on the strength, ductility, rigidity and dissipated energy of the specimens were investigated. It was found that all the tested specimens failed in a shear-dominant mode. The ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens decreased with an increase of axial load level or decrease of height-width ratio. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
