摘要
The purpose of this investigation was to examine the applicability and usefulness of an index, calculated as the ratio of the dynamic work during plyometric jumping to static work during knee joint extension from 130-170degrees, in sports and particularly in sprinting. Six sprinters were tested during static and dynamic conditions. Results suggest that, in most cases, the index successfully predicted the state of readiness of sprinters and also the criterion performance of the dynamic test, that is take-off vertical velocity in drop vertical jumping. It was concluded that the index might be useful in facilitating the most appropriate exercise regimen during the various stages of training leading to competition readiness.
