In this study, it was aimed to determine the importance of beliefs and applications on animals in Central Anatolia in terms of Turk beliefs; also, it was aimed to compare these beliefs and applications with the other regions in Turkey and all over the world and finally to clarify these beliefs and applications. The beliefs on animals were evaluated under the titles of evil eye, news, extraordinary creatures, gender, delivery, ethno meteorology and calendar, luck or unlucky, abundance or in fertileness and death. It was found that people in Anatolia had beliefs that were coming from Middle Asia to Anatolia about animals which were very important for their lives both socio-culturally and economically. It can be said that the people living in Anatolia have maintained beliefs coming from Turk tribes and the cultural, historical, geographical and socio-psychologic effects of these beliefs lead to be developed an Animal Cult. Furthermore, these are still existing in Anatolian Turk's beliefs.
